You’ve never visited a campus like UC Merced. Our sustainable campus is home to a diverse community of students and faculty researchers in the heart of California’s agriculturally rich San Joaquin Valley. When we say we’re green, we mean it — from our environmentally sound buildings to the more than 6,500 acres of protected open space adjoining the campus.
Plus, we’re about an hour and a half from Yosemite National Park, one of the most naturally beautiful places on Earth. We’re growing at an astounding rate, but our campus community is still small enough to guarantee a unique learning environment for every student.
