Work in his lab includes large-scale modeling of language and cognitive processes, and statistical analyses of fluctuations and distributions of human neural and behavioral activities.

Prior to joining UC Merced, Dr. Kello was:

  • A postdoctoral fellow in the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition at Carnegie Mellon University
  • An advanced research associate in the Communication Neuroscience Department at the House Ear Institute
  • A faculty member in the Department of Psychology at George Mason University
  • Director of the Perception, Action, and Cognition Program at the National Science Foundation>
